The year 2020 came with so many challenges and business opportunities.

Even though Covid-19 screwed up so many plans, we managed to partner up with a Serbian organization called AIESIC and bring Mariana, from Mexico, as a marketing intern.

For those who don’t know about AIESEC, it works like this:

The company opens internship positions internationally and AIESEC publishes it on their channels.

Then students/graduates apply and AIESEC is in charge of interviews after which they provide a list of candidates who passed the entry interview.

The company can choose between candidates and when that part is done, AIESEC makes sure that the chosen candidate can travel to the chosen country (visa, papers, accommodation).

Mariana was with us for 2 months and we can now say that she was the best candidate for this internship.

TechOrganic a new esports platform aiming for grassroots and collegiate activations. Founder Malcom Williams will continue his journey to combine education with esports. Our tech branch TwogEngine developed the platform and will continue to support it. TechOrganic platform will feature everything from tournaments to news! 

Our founder Sebastian Läger will be at the INAT Summit as a speaker. 

During INAT Summit Sebastian will be talking about the story of how and why he ventured into esports in the early days, including what 2020 and the years to come will bring.

HR and immaturity of young talents, ways to improve is one of the mission statements and Sebastian will provide tips on how to improve applications and entry into various fields of the industry, including tech jobs.

More light will be shed on why Serbia is a prime destination in Europe for entrepreneurs that in any form or shape touch on technology and IT development. Since TwogNation’s tech hub is located in Belgrade – there will be many tips about how to circumvent obstacles in the region and get a competitive advantage globally.

INAT Summit will take place from December 9th to 11th.

TwogNation keeps growing and with our local staff exceeding soon the 30 member mark it is time to upgrade our work place. Like our old office, the new one will be located in Rakovica, Belgrade. With almost 700m2 at our disposal we are not just growing our esports tech verticals and business staff, but we are doubling down on a few new verticals we created in 2020, especially in the context of the pandemic. The new office will be also home to ICATREX where entrepreneurs from anywhere in the world can locate their teams, which we assemble for them via local or international recruitment. With this setup, any venture requiring technology can have their own team, in a secure environment, 24/7 available, all staff together in one place, because there is only so much you can do over a Zoom call. 

We’ll also emphasize a lot more perks for our own or partner’s staff here, with new meeting rooms, gym, recreational areas, better infrastructure, faster internet, all offices climatized, support staff to take care of daily needs  and many more perks.
